The Remuneration practice (The REM Practice) was founded in May 2022. The Firm offers remuneration benchmarking of employee salaries and benefits, Boards’ remuneration reviews, payroll services, HR surveys, and outsourced HR Manager services.

The Founder and Managing Director -Jane Kithela is a seasoned HR professional with over 20 years of human resources and project management experience gained working as an HR Manager and as a Consultant. Jane is an experienced HR Management Consultant and a practicing human resources specialist. She understands well how an efficient HR function works, can develop human resources systems and processes, and implement them seamlessly to achieve a memorable employee experience.

Jane is a seasoned professional with 23 years working experience in the field of Human Resource Management and in Management consulting, having worked in various capacities as a HR Manager and a Management Consultant.

Jane has also been involved in overall leadership of teams in various capacities and has sound project management skills having managed several client projects throughout her consulting career with PwC Kenya and Deloitte East Africa.

Jane has depth of experience across a whole range of HR processes; recruitment and selection, diversity, and inclusion, reviewing organization structures, job analysis and job evaluations, developing job descriptions, developing performance management systems, remuneration management and in developing HR policy and procedures. 

Qualifications:
  • Masters in Business Administration- Maastricht Management School/ ESAMI.
  • Bachelor of Arts (Social Works) – University of Nairobi
  • Higher National Diploma in HR Management from the Institute of Human Resources Management)
  • SHL Psychometric Testing certified
  • Job Evaluator certified
  • Member, Institute of Human Resources Management, Kenya
